I'm two years into a software engineering career and currently doing a nationwide job search while splitting my time between the DC and bay areas. I'm open to moving to other cities.
A major life goal right now is financial independence - I want to have the option to not work for money and not worry about how I will pay for things.

- Grew up in the Washington, DC area, and have always lived on the east coast ranging between New York and Charlottesville, VA
- I used to be a full-time tutor. I got to go to all the houses and meet all the pets. The kids were nice too.
- I used to be a free speech lawyer. Happy to talk constitutional law, but understand that nothing I say is ever legal advice.
- I used to be ~70 pounds heavier, and have been maintaining my current weight for about two and a half years. I still make an effort to limit calorie intake, and probably will for the foreseeable future. I do not cook. If you do, this is good, but we will have conversations about calories.
- I am still close friends with one of my exes.
- I have, for several periods in my life, lived out of a vehicle, as a voluntary means of achieving my financial and other goals. Under the right circumstances I'd happily do so again, and am happy to talk about how this works.
